Advertisement for the post of JRF/Project Assistant in a SERB funded Research Project
Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of JRF/Project Assistant in a SERB
funded research project with the following details:

Title of the Project: Study of combinatorial properties of graphs using topological tools
Principal Investigator: Dr. Anurag Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, IIT
Bhilai, GEC Campus, Sejbahar, Raipur, Chhattisgarh- 492015, anurags@iitbhilai.ac.in .
Name of the position: Junior Research Fellow (in case of salary (i) applies) OR Project assistant (in
case of salary (ii) applies)

Number of Positions: 01
Essential qualifications: M.Sc. (Mathematics) from a recognized institute/university or statutory body
Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates having CSIR/UGC JRF-NET/GATE or working
experience relevant to the project.

Age limit: 35 years
Salary: (i) Rs 31000 per month +16% HRA to applicants who are selected through (a)National
Eligibility Test-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A
selection process through national level examination conducted by central government departments
and their agencies and institutions.

OR

(ii) Minimum Rs. 28000 per month (for others who do not fall under (i) above).
Duration: Initially for 1 years and can be extended for 1 more year or up to the termination of the
project subject to satisfactory annual progress review.
