Answer : Group C, formerly called Class III, are the public servants in non-supervisory roles. Examples are – Pharmacists, Lab technicians, Head Clerks / Section Heads, Police Head Constables, Typists, Stenographers, Tax Assistants, Telephone operators, TTEs, Junior Engineers, Senior Section Engineers of Railways, etc.
