Business/ Technical Skills Sets:
- Essential :
- Should have worked in Support/ Monitoring Function
- Hands on experience of Administration, management & monitoring of following equipment:
- Hands on experience of review of Security devices logs such as
- Excellent Troubleshooting Skills
- Hands on experience & knowledge for Layer2 & Layer3 Switching & routing protocols
- Understanding of Network and Internet Connectivity
- Hands on experience & knowledge on the Vulnerability Scanning & Analysis of the report.
- Good Communication skills.
- Desirable :
- Knowledge of ISO 27001 Information Security Management standards
- Knowledge of Firewall Rule Review process and its related products
- Knowledge of following Technology
2) Distributed Denial Of Service (DDoS) attack detection and response mechanism
3) General understanding of Security Operations Center (SOC) co-ordination
Experience : Minimum 2 years in IT Network and Security
Job Profile :
- Administration and monitoring of Security devices such as Firewall, IPS and Network devices such as L2/ L3 Switches, Routers, Load Balancers and NAC
- Interaction/ Co-ordination with different departments (Business and Systems) for their different Network connectivity requirement (which involves firewall configuration changes)
- Firewall and IPS log analysis, review and reporting – Ticket Management and MIS Reporting
- Review of Firewall Access Control logs and preparing the reports
- Creation/ deletion and modification of Firewall policies as per requirement after change management process
- Will perform day-to-day health Monitoring of Firewall, IPS and other tools
- Ensure compliance to SLA, Uptime of Network Security equipment, process adherence and process improvisation
- Co-ordination with stakeholders and vendors, build and maintain positive working relationships with them
- Regular MIS Reporting as per the Standard Operating Procedure
- Internal Department Documentation (Change Management, Service Request Management etc.)
